Inaugural Elderberry Tea to celebrate Older Americans Month

Elder Services, Inc will be hosting an Inaugural Elderberry Tea to celebrate Older Americans month on May 31.  The tea will offer two seating, 11:00 and 1:30 at the University of Iowa Athletic Club.  The menu will include tea donated by New Pioneer Coop, assorted breakfast items, canapés, cucumber sandwiches, egg salad sandwiches, and a variety of desserts. This fundraiser is proudly sponsored by Jefferson Point a Burns Housing community, Caring Hands and More in Iowa City, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, and Lensing Funeral Home’s Faithful Companions.  Music by Alan Swanson.

Raffle tickets are also available for an 18 karat yellow gold and micro pave diamond tear drop pendant values at $1650 which has been donated by Hands Jewelry.  Tickets can be purchased online or at the ESI office. You do not need to be present to win.
